We set up SHED from a disused Haggerston warehouse space in 2010. As creatives/photographers ourselves, the aim was to make a home from an environment that we would be comfortable working in. We have refined the space into two co-working spaces consisting of around 100 freelancers. We still have two onsite photography studios and an amazing coffee and wine shop. We have built a genuine community of creative freelancers who all have made a second home of the space. We encourage the idea of a creative home for our residents, offering discounts on our event space and photography studios. As part of our SHED ethos and wanting to cater to our residents needs, we offer super high-speed internet as standard and our meeting rooms and breakout areas all available to use at no extra charge. We are also dog-friendly and arrange regular social events for all workspace residents.
